1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TempMailGuru ("we", "us", "our") and the website https://tempmailguru.com/ (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

TempMailGuru provides temporary (disposable) email addresses that let you receive emails without using your real inbox. Paid plans may offer extra features, such as connecting your own custom domains. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

4. Accounts

• Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send spam, bulk, or unsolicited messages.
• Commit fraud, phishing, identity theft, or impersonation.
• Harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code.
• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any law or third-party right.
• Create accounts on other websites in order to abuse, defraud, or evade bans on those services.
• Receive or store illegal content, including child sexual abuse material.
• Attack, overload, scrape at excessive rates, or reverse engineer the Service, or bypass its security or rate limits.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

We may investigate violations and report illegal activity to the authorities.

6. Temporary Emails: Important Limitations

• Public and non-private: Temporary addresses are not private. Anyone who knows or guesses an address may be able to read its messages.
• Auto-deletion: Emails are deleted automatically after a limited time and cannot be recovered. Save anything important elsewhere.
• No guarantee of delivery: Some senders or websites block disposable email addresses, and we do not guarantee that every email will arrive.
• Do not use for important accounts: Do not use TempMailGuru for banking, healthcare, government, work, or any account you may need to recover later. You use the Service at your own risk.
• No outgoing email: Unless stated otherwise, the Service is for receiving email only.

7. Custom Domains

If you connect your own domain, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. You are responsible for correct DNS settings (such as MX and TXT records) and for how your domain is used. We may remove a domain that is used for abuse or that you do not own.

8. Paid Plans, Billing and Refunds

• Paid plans (such as the Pro plan) are billed in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with advance notice.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not give partial refunds for unused time.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend your paid features.
• Taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) may apply depending on your location.

9. Advertising

The free version of the Service may display advertisements from third parties. We are not responsible for the content of ads or for third-party sites you visit through them.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by TempMailGuru and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of the content of emails you receive, and you give us permission to process that content only as needed to operate the Service.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (such as payment processors, hosting, and advertising). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that emails will always be received, delivered, or retained.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TempMailGuru and its owner, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you have not paid us anything.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless TempMailGuru and its owner, affiliates, and service providers from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or that your use may harm the Service, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

17. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
